Coming from the north, take the A1 toll highway. After the Florence exit, follow directions for La Spezia, followed by Leghorn. At the end of the highway (Rosignano Marittimo) take the highway towards Grosseto and exit at Venturina.
Coming from the south and from Rome, take the Rome/Civitavecchia toll highway, then the Via Aurelia until Grosseto followed by the highway towards Leghorn and exit at Venturina.
From Florence, take the highway Firenze-Pisa/Livorno, following indications for Leghorn. At Collesalvetti, take the highway until Rosignano Marittimo, then the highway toward Leghorn and exit at Venturina.
From Venturina, follow directions for Suvereto, then the regional road no. 398 toward Monterotondo Marittimo. At Km. 17,400 turn left and take Via della Miniera, following the directional signs for Km. 1,300 you will reach “Il Poggio di Clara”.
By train:
The train station is called Campiglia Marittima. From here you can either take a taxi or bus for Monterotondo Marittimo (approx. 15 minutes).
